DANCE MARATHON
AHS National Honor Society is excited to bring back Dance Marathon this April to raise funds for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This event is an incredible opportunity for the community to come together and make a difference For The Kids!
All AHS students are encouraged to take part! Before the event, students can ask friends, family, and local businesses for donations for the Children’s Hospital. At the event, we have a big reveal to announce how much money was raised!
Date: Sunday, April 6
Time: 1 PM – 7 PM
Location: Southview Middle School
Theme: This year’s color is purple, chosen by the senior class in honor of a classmate who embodied strength, joy, and a love for dance.
A common question is, “Do I have to dance for 6 hours?” The answer is no! The only requirement is to stay engaged and on your feet for the full event while enjoying dancing, games, and fun activities — we hope to see you there!
