AHS End of Semester 1 Bell Schedule
Finals will be next week on Wednesday, January 10th and Thursday, January 11th. There will be no school on Friday, January 12th or Monday, January 15th.
NO SCHOOL – WINTER BREAK
There will be no school from December 25th through January 2nd due to winter break. School will resume on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024.
The AHS main office will be closed from December 25th through January 1st.

Add, Drop, or Switch a Class
Students who want to add, drop, or switch a class in their second-semester schedule will need to meet with their counselor to make the change before January 11th. After the start of second-semester, students may only DROP a class (switching or swapping is not an option) if the student will still have 6 plus PE in their schedule. The last day to drop a class in the second semester is January 22nd. See your counselor if you have questions.
23-24 Seal of Biliteracy
Sign Up for the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy! This year’s exam will take place February 19-23. Exam fees should be paid via Ankeny’s TouchBase system. Specific directions to purchase the assessment on Touchbase are HERE. Signup and payment will be open December 4 – January 11. If you have specific questions regarding the Seal of Biliteracy, please contact your AHS Counselor or World Language teacher (if applicable).
