Homecoming 2010 will begin Thursday, September 16 with the City-wide Pep Rally at 7:00 pm in the AHS gym. Ankeny School District Reaches 8,500 Student Mark

Just one year after welcoming its 8,000th student, the Ankeny Community School District has achieved another milestone in growth. At the annual kickoff for district faculty held on August 16, seventh grader Pierce Edwards was introduced as the 8,500th student.  Secondary school buildings are now larger than some small colleges in Iowa and the district is approaching the (Continued...)
